We at ERZET also fulfill our social responsibility and take precautions to reduce the spread of Covid-19 (Corona Virus). From now on 50% of our colleagues are in the home office and work for you from home. However, it is important that we remain available to you as usual. All our efforts are aimed at slowing down the spread of the virus, protecting our employees and at the same time ensuring that our company remains fully operational.

Despite the current tense situation, we would like to keep you up to date. As you may have already heard, ERZET is currently in a process of change. Thereby we have set out on a path to make ERZET fit for the future. With this goal in mind, we have invested massively in our warehouses in recent years and have also set a new course in terms of personnel.

1.) Within the scope of our reorientation, we have to announce that RVT Handelsgesellschaft mbH and ERZET will combine forces from mid-2020 onwards and face the future together. Until further notice, the management of RVT will be taken over by

Mrs El Difrawi - Geldbach,

the operative management will be carried out by ERZET. The aim is to combine competences in the future, to save resources and to offer an even larger range of products. Thereby RVT as part of ERZET will keep its location. We are looking forward to meet the needs of our customers with even more possibilities.

2.) After many successful years

Mr Stephan Schmidt

will leave the company ERZET at the end of 2020 and take his well-deserved retirement. Mr. Schmidt has now been working for ERZET for 40 years and has played a significant role in the development of the company and the fact that ERZET is now a very healthy company. Mr. Schmidt is still active in the day-to-day business and we are already working to prepare a seamless transition.

3.) In the context of this change, we are pleased to inform you that our management will be complemented from now on by

Mr Mario Pérez Sánchez.

Mr. Pérez Sánchez has already acquired a great amount of experience on the national and international steel trading floors. In addition to trading companies, he has also worked for manufacturing companies, for example in the roles and rolling industry.
With Mr. Pérez Sánchez, we are completing the generational change in management that began with the appointment of

Mr Jobst Kisker

in 2017.

4.) In addition to the reorganization of the management, we have also founded a new project office in which we now serve the needs of the energy, process and power plant sector. As contact persons in this segment, you will find from now on

Mr Peter Groeneweg and
Mr Jürgen Strauss

at your disposal. Both are experts in this field and each has more than 25 years of professional experience.
